Within Nine Network's community engagment department, I worked specifically on a national initiative called American Graduate. The Corporation of Public Broadcasting launched American Graduate to help communities implement solutions to the high school dropout crisis. Some of the tasks that I accomplished are listed below:

Aided in the preparation and execution of several Nine Network events including documentary screenings, student field trips and community conversations

Collaborated with supervisor and Web designer to create and revamp several American Graduate Web pages

Aggregated data from interim reports and event survey results into spreadsheets

Generated questions for on camera interviews with community members

Provided logistical and administrative assistance prior to and during a Sports Illustrated event in Las Vegas, NV

Developed and formally presented a relaunch strategy for the former Sports Illustrated on Campus publication

Conducted venue research and constructed travel and transportation spreadsheets for upcoming events

Assisted in organizing, filing and distributing tickets for professional sporting events
Internship Experience

Created and updated databases daily in regards to NBC promotional content usage

Assisted in booking, organizing, and running live on-camera interviews of NBC correspondents on a weekly basis

Revised the NBC International Growth Plan PowerPoint and developed a separate MSNBC International Growth Plan PowerPoint to supplement the director’s presentations

Attended Nightly News with Brian Williams planning meetings twice daily and produced summaries for the department
